Peter, Donna and I were interviewed by Count Gore De Vol back in July at Comic Con this year. It was a hoot! It’s up on the internet now for your viewing pleasure. It’s about 9 minutes long, but worth watching the end (not my idea, but hilarious).

Write up on Cheerbleeders in Peter’s hometown.
No that’s a lie. But you can see it with a wonderful campy intro by the vampiric host of Creature Features New Blood – Count Gore De Vol! It’s only up for 2 weeks, so check it out while you can. Or if you know me, remind me to show it to you sometime. It’s delightful.
Fatally Yours reviews Cheerbleeders from the Paranoia Film Festival. It was the one last week on the Queen Mary.
Cheerbleeders is screening at Paranoia down at the Queen Mary, Saturday March 14th in the 2-4pm block. Woo!
There was a nice review of Cheerbleeders on a horror T-shirt site, of all places, but he had some nice things to say. Check it out. Also you can buy T-shirts.
And here is a good interview with the director/writer about the production.
It’s funny what you find when you take time to search for it…
It’s a bunch of footage I also used on my reel actually. I think I should update my reel soon though. Make a longer one and then also maybe a commercial one when I get my footage from the spec I did.
Here is Peter talking about making Cheerbleeders for an online Horror Vlog. He’s 2 minutes in.
The whole show was great and the film was well received. The only drawback was that Patton was working late as Remy the Rat and was unable to attend. He had a friend come in his place, so the film didn’t quite have the same introduction it probably would have, but it seemed like the audience really got a kick out of it, though they weren’t sure what to expect going into it.
It was a little odd screening a film short at a comedy show, but all in all it worked because it was more of a variety show overall. Singers, magicians, comedians, video sketches, and Peter’s film. Awesome!
I wish I could have met Patton, but I’m really glad he liked the film and wanted other people to get to see it.
In other news I am shooting a student short next Friday and then another short is slated for mid-December. Woo!
