The whole show was great and the film was well received. The only drawback was that Patton was working late as Remy the Rat and was unable to attend. He had a friend come in his place, so the film didn’t quite have the same introduction it probably would have, but it seemed like the audience really got a kick out of it, though they weren’t sure what to expect going into it.
It was a little odd screening a film short at a comedy show, but all in all it worked because it was more of a variety show overall. Singers, magicians, comedians, video sketches, and Peter’s film. Awesome!
I wish I could have met Patton, but I’m really glad he liked the film and wanted other people to get to see it.
In other news I am shooting a student short next Friday and then another short is slated for mid-December. Woo!
