Delivery reshoot- just one more.

There was a running joke on the set of Delivery that we all have nightmares of the director saying, “One more.” Well, after the final reshoot a couple weeks ago, they plugged the footage into the rough cut and determined that one of the scenes, while totally awesome on its own, didn’t really match the tone of the scenes that lead into and out of it. I watched the original and it really does work (I was worried the timing was off) but they wanted a different feel to the scene as a whole. More trepidation. The original is more casual. I know I’m being vague since I can’t talk about what the scene is, but trust me, it’s great.

So Wednesday evening, I met up with the producer and director at the ol’ Massey House one last time and we did the scene in a new way. I actually like it better too. It builds more suspense and is faster overall. As much as it’s difficult to reshoot scenes, I really think that all the changes made to the scenes have been improvements.

Not I can finally say I’m done. *Knock on wood* Seriously though, they are going to try and have something we can see by December. Yay! I can’t wait!
